The Florida Maritime Leadership Coalition is a Florida-registered non-profit corporation. FMLC was created in 2008 to provide a unified voice to the state’s vast maritime transportation industry, which is a major economic engine for the state.
The Florida Maritime Leadership Coalition is being created to increase the presence of the maritime industry with state leaders as important decisions and policies are being determined regarding security and economic development stimulus funding. To quickly launch this non-profit effort, we are suggesting a contribution $2,500, but we are flexible to accommodate smaller companies, individuals and non-profits. Our successes this year and feedback from our coalition partners and members will determine FMLC’s activities and membership structure in future years.
